Hot Yoga – Basics

Hot Yoga Basics is a multi level class which will build strength and confidence in the basic postures focusing on breath and alignment. It is a little faster and more dynamic than the beginners level.

Hot Yoga is a great way to tone up, improve your flexibility, de-stress, detox and relax.
At Bamboo Fitness our studio is heated to approximately 30-35 degrees which will help you stretch and relax more easily.

Expect to feel worked out, de-stressed and cleansed.

Level: This is a mixed ability class with modifications and progressions offered to suit participants of all levels.

What you need: 

  • We provide Yoga mats but feel free to bring your own.
  • A towel to lay on top of your mat (Yes you will sweat that much!)
  • Water – Make sure you’re hydrated before coming to class, during the class drink little and often.

Mat Pilates Workshop - Transform your technique

Our 2 hour workshop will focus on technique and form to get the most out of Mat Pilates. Quite a few of our classes have a strong Mat Pilates element and we have two classes each week that are entirely Mat based.
For variety we will use props like the foam roller, mini stability balls, hand weights and flex bands as class formats like Hot Mat Pilates, Mat Pilates Flow, Mat and Reformer Combo, Reformer Conditioning, Mat and Reformer Flow and Total Barre all use small equipment for that thorough and functional Mat Pilates workout.
