We are so excited to host Master Trainer John Garey at Bamboo Fitness on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of July.

We are running two masterclasses for clients and teachers on Saturday 1st July and three two hour workshops aimed at teachers on Sunday 2nd July.

Heres the exciting John Garey timetable:

Saturday 1st July Master Classes

Intermediate Reformer 12:30 – 1:30pm

Join John Garey for a fun, full body, intermediate reformer workout. John designed this workout similar to a traditional fitness strength workout. The workout will begin with Lower Body, move on to Upper Body, and finish with Core Work. Bring a towel and get ready to sweat and have a blast!

Power Pilates Circuit 2:00 – 3:00pm

Join John Garey for an hour of fun and challenging, full body, muscular endurance workout. Using various pieces of Pilates equipment in a circuit, this workout is balanced for all muscles groups and movement directions and is an intermediate level. There is a combination of mobility and strength moves. You’ll leave feeling fully energized and with a smile on your face.

Both one hour masterclasses are priced at £30 each.

Sunday 2nd July Workshops

Advanced Mat with a Twist 11:30am – 1:30pm

This Instructor Master Class includes a mix of beginner, intermediate, and advanced Pilates mat exercises. It’s a programme that’s intended to be fast paced and fun. We’ll explore a few of variations that make this a full body, creative and athletic-based workout. The programme includes movements designed to mobilise the spine in all directions, as well as, specific exercises to strengthen the core, arms and legs. Notes will be provided, which include thumbnail photos for each exercise and variation.

Intermediate Reformer – Fitness Emphasis 2:00 – 4:00pm

In this Instructor Master Class, we’ll marry the worlds of fitness and Pilates for an innovative, fun, and challenging Reformer programme. This is the perfect way to challenge your stronger Pilates clients and to introduce Pilates to your clients with a fitness background. It’s full of fun variations and creative exercises and it’s a complete workout as well. Notes will be provided, which include thumbnail photos for each exercise and variation.

Elastic Pilates 4:30 – 6:30pm

In this Instructor Master Class, we’ll use fitness and Pilates tools that have an elastic quality to enhance Pilates mat work. Stability balls, flex–bands and fitness circles can greatly enhance a traditional Pilates workout when used correctly. Learn the science behind elastic resistance and why it’s so beneficial in Pilates. Discover creative and fun exercises utilizing a variety of elastic tools. Notes will be provided, which include thumbnail photos for each exercise and variation.

All two hour workshops are priced at £80 each.
